Fairfield's west side is where we do most of our fabrication work, and the reason is parcel geometry. Green Valley sits in the foothills with custom homes on large lots, and Rancho Solano is a partly gated golf-course community of custom and semi-custom homes built from the 1990s. Neither was laid out to standard residential dimensions. Openings are wide, driveways curve, and the ground falls away toward the drainage. A catalogue gate ordered to the nearest standard size arrives with a wedge of daylight at one post and a latch that only meets if you lift the leaf. We measure the real opening and the real grade and build to those numbers.
