Agreement

These terms govern your use of this website, operated by Vacaville Custom Metal & Electric Gates. By using the site you accept them. If you do not accept them, please do not use the site.

What This Website Is

This site describes gate fabrication, installation, automation and access control services. The content is general information about how we work and about gates in this region. It is not engineering advice, and it is not a substitute for an on-site assessment of your specific property.

Quotes and Estimates

Nothing on this site is a binding offer or a fixed price. Any price ranges shown are general market context, not quotes. A binding price is only ever given in a written quote issued after an on-site measurement, and it is valid for the period stated in that quote. Work only begins once a written quote is accepted.

Permits and Compliance

Requirements for gates differ between jurisdictions, including Vacaville, Fairfield, Suisun City, Dixon, Vallejo and Benicia in Solano County, and Winters in Yolo County. We identify the requirements applicable to your project and handle permit submittals where they form part of the agreed scope. Statements on this site about permits, height limits or review processes are general guidance and are subject to change by the relevant authority.

Safety Standards

We install automated gate systems with entrapment protection intended to meet UL 325, and we build gates intended to meet the construction requirements of ASTM F2200. Continued compliance depends on the system being maintained, not modified by others, and having its safety devices kept in working order. Automated gates are powered machinery and must not be operated by, or left accessible to, unsupervised children.

Third-Party Links and Services

This site may reference third parties, including equipment manufacturers and service providers such as Formspree and Google. We do not control those parties and are not responsible for their content, products or practices.

Limitation of Liability

This website is provided on an as-is basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law we disclaim liability for any loss arising from reliance on the general information published here. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law. Liability in relation to work we actually carry out is governed by the written contract for that work, not by these website terms.

Intellectual Property

The content, layout and design of this site are the property of Vacaville Custom Metal & Electric Gates and may not be reproduced without permission.

Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California. Any dispute relating to this website will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in Solano County, California.
